There is great hiking right out the door of the house and around the Tahoe region.

Everything you need to know about biking at Northstar is on their site. From what we can tell, the majority of the trails served by Northstar's lift service are for strong intermediate or advanced riders.

• This is a fun 12 mile advanced loop from out the door.

• Elizabethtown Meadows is a fun moderate ride out the door.

We normally rent at Tahoe Dave's in Truckee, but you can also rent at the village.

Ice skating in the village is free. Skate rentals are $20 in the village with complimentary helmets.

We have sleds and snowshoes and poles in the garage. Feel free to use. There is some sledding around the house, and you can snowshoe around the golf course.
